Latest update: 18.12.2016
Being Banco Popolare a bank that is registered as a co-operative bank and having the key features of a “popolari” bank according to the Italian Banking Law, based on the current legislation no shareholder may hold shares in excess of 1.00% of the share capital (3.00% for banking foundations).
This limit is, however, not applied to professional investment firms and asset management companies (“OICR”) which are regulated by their own discipline in the matter of holding limits.
As reported on the Consob website, on the basis of the notifications sent by shareholders, as of this update there are no relevant holdings (>3%) in the share capital of Banco Popolare.
Latest amendment: 18/12/2016, on the basis of the communications received by Consob in compliance with current regulations.
